Product Introduction

 

In a Stainless Steel U-tube heat exchanger, each tube is bent into a U shape. The fluid inlet and outlet are installed on both sides of the same end, and a partition plate is used to divide the head into two chambers.

Each tube can expand and contract freely to solve the problem of thermal compensation.

Heating/cooling medium flows ‌counter-currently‌ through the shell side (outside the tubes).

Product structure

 

  • It consists of straight tubes bent into a U shape, terminating at both ends with a tube sheet.
  • The tube bundle is equipped with a support or guide plate.
  • The tube sheet/tube bundle is placed inside the shell and bolted between the head flange and the shell flange.
  • A head assembly is required to guide the fluid in and out through the tube bundle.
  • This structure allows the entire tube bundle to be removable.

Working principle

 

U-tube heat exchanger is a commonly used heat exchange equipment, and its working principle is based on heat conduction and fluid dynamics. Through the design of the U-tube, the heat exchanger is able to achieve indirect heat exchange between two different fluids. The U-tube heat exchanger achieves efficient heat conduction and fluid exchange through the unique U-tube design. Specifically, one fluid flows on one side of the U-tube, while the other fluid flows on the other side, and heat is exchanged through the tube wall
