Product Introduction
The floating type heat exchanger, in which only one end of the tube sheet at both ends is fixed to the shell, and the other end can move freely relative to the shell, is called a floating head. Its advantages are that it is easy to clean between tubes and inside the tubes, and no thermal stress will be generated. It is suitable for occasions where the wall temperature difference between the shell and the tube bundle is large or the shell-side medium is prone to scaling. It complies with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII, Division 1, Part UHX, and is an American standard heat exchanger.
Product structure
The floating-head heat exchanger design consists of a floating head, a tube bundle, a tube shell, and a baffle-thus, it can also be called a tube bundle heat exchanger.
The floating head consists of a floating tube sheet, a hook ring and a floating head end cover. It is a detachable connection, and the tube bundle can be pulled out of the shell.
The thermal deformation of the tube bundle and the shell is not constrained, so no thermal stress is generated.
This design connects one end of the tube sheet to the shell, while the other end "floats" freely in the shell. It also consists of a detachable tube bundle, which consists of straight tubes, tube sheets, tie rods and baffles.
